Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Glasgow, Central Scotland.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Legionella Risk Assessor through to Lead Legionella Risk Assessor

A well known name in Scotland for providing various clients with Risk Assessment and Legionella control services now seeks to employ an experienced Risk Assessor, ideally located in the Glasgow area. Must be self sufficient and able to manage their own diary, confident in carrying out assessments on domestic water systems in line with HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines, producing associated reports and schematics. For the right candidate the client can offer further training into process and cooling tower assessments.

Applications will be considered from: Clydebank, Paisley, East Kilbride, Coatbridge, Wishaw, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Linlithgow, Livingstone, Edinburgh, Queensferry.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessing.
” Will be experienced within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, ideally working as a Risk Assessor.
” Must be able to communicate efficiently and organise work load in line with company and client requirements.
” Will be well versed in relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 / HTM 0401 Guidelines.
” Able to use internal / external databases confidently.

The Role:
” Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACoP L8 / HTM 0401 / Health and Safety guidelines across a mixed portfolio of sites.
” Producing and working to detailed schematic drawings.
” Producing final documents and Handwritten reports
” Carrying out temperature monitoring and water sampling.
” Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical support and ensuring to maintain excellent working relationships.
