Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Legionella Risk Assessor through to Legionella Consultant.

A privately owned Water Hygiene / Legionella company, with plans to further expand their presence across the Midlands area, are currently recruiting a Legionella Risk Assessor. Applicants will come from a strong legionella background with experience working on domestic water systems. The company are looking for a self-sufficient Risk Assessor, who can work independently and assist in driving the company forward. For the successful applicant, our client can offer opportunities for overtime, company vehicle and generous pension.
Consideration will be given to candidate from: West Bromwich, Halesowen, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Ludlow, Solihull, Coventry, Wednesbury, Stafford, Stone, Leek, Stoke-on-Trent, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Loughborough, Beeston, Derby, Nottingham, and other areas with good access to the Midlands region.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Recognised Legionella Risk Assessing qualification such BOHS / City and Guilds or WMSoc (Essential).
” Experience undertaking risk assessments on a range of site and water systems.
” Good working knowledge of domestic water systems.
” Familiar using handheld PDA systems to input site data.
” Excellent organisational and able to schedule own work load.

The Role:
” Traveling across the Midlands region, covering Commercial, Industrial and High Security sites, carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on Hot and Cold domestic water systems.
” Ensuring client sites comply with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Using a handheld PDA to gather information to produce detailed reports for clients.
” Carrying out work using schematic drawings, providing clients with final documents.
” Ensuring to always maintain a professional manner.
