Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: North West and surrounding area.
Salary / Benefits: £24k – £34k + Company Vehicle + Benefits

National Water Hygiene / Legionella company, with a dedicated team of engineers / risk assessors, is currently seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their North West office. The successful candidate will come from a strong legionella compliance background and will be experienced in carrying out risk assessments to domestic hot and cold water systems. Successful candidates will be travelling across the North West / Yorkshire / M62 region, with the client offering the flexible start / finish times and the opportunity to organise your own work load.

Consideration will be given to those in areas such as; Greater Manchester, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Leigh, Wigan, Stretford, Stockport, Warrington, St Helens, Huddersfield, Halifax, Bradford, Batley, Dewsbury, Wakefield, Leeds and Castleford.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Will ideally hold an industry recognised Legionella Risk Assessing qualification (WmSoc / City & Guilds).
– Experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor within an established company.
– Strong understanding of Hot and Cold Water Systems.
– Working knowledge of L8 guidelines and compliance tasks.
– Highly organised and confident in organising own work load.

The Role:
Travelling across the m62 region undertaking compliance and risk assessing tasks such as;
– Working on domestic hot and cold systems undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments.
– Using handheld PDAs to complete report.
– Reviewing existing risk assessments
– Producing schematics of hot & cold-water services
– Undertaking water sampling.
– Temperature monitoring.
– Chlorinating and disinfecting on hot and cold-water systems.
– TMV servicing.
– Ensuring work is being carried out in accordance with HSG / ACoP L8 Guidelines.
