This well-established and professional water treatment/hygiene company, who offer a wide range of water and legionella services to prestigious clients nationwide are now looking to recruit an experienced and client-facing Legionella Risk Assessor to join their busy workforce in the Brighton area. The successful candidate will have extensive experience under-taking legionella risk assessments on a range of sites from small schools to domestic properties and will have a good understanding of HTM-04 01 guidelines to ensure. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a well-respected company, that invests long-term in their staff. Qualifications & experience:

Ideally hold City & Guilds Legionella qualification or equivalent WMS certificates.
Fully conversant with domestic, commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations.
Experience in providing a follow up consultancy service to clients.
Good communication skills.
Competent with Microsoft office package.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of respective legislation and guidance materials (ACoP L8, HTM: 0401, Water regulations, BS 8580)
Ideally have previous experience in the maintenance, servicing, and testing of chemical water treatment services.
Ability to demonstrate experience of mechanical maintenance and repairs work e.g. plumbing/engineering
Ability to work alone on a multi-site capacity, working to a strict quality control systems and operational procedures

Role:

Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with the industry standards, client requirements and within agreed time scale.
Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents for clients.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
Monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
Surveying of water systems and supplies.
Attending meetings with clients as required.
Maintain a professional working relationship and provide technical and effective advice and consultancy with clients.
Travel will occasionally be required.
