Our client is a well-established name within the water treatment industry offering the complete range of water treatment/water hygiene and legionella services to clients nationwide. Due to the recent acquisition of new contracts they now have a vacancy for a competent and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor based in the Canterbury area. Applications will be considered from Whitstable, Sandwich, Faversham, Aylesham and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must have attended an approved Risk Assessment course, ideally City & Guilds, or have had internal training courses.
Experience working as a legionella risk assessor within the water treatment/water hygiene arena.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.
Extensive experience of carrying out risk assessments on cooling towers.

Role:

Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Producing schematic drawings and final documents for clients.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessment.
Undertaking monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
Surveys of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
Writing up reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports if required.
