Job Description

This rapidly expanding water treatment/water hygiene company provides a comprehensive range of water treatment services to clients nationwide. Due to current business requirements they are now looking for a competent Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team to work on a variety of contracts in and around the Dorchester region. Consideration will be given to applications from Bournemouth, Yeovil, Weymouth and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must hold the Legionella City & Guilds, WMS certificate or equivalent qualification.
Experience of carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP – L8.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fully conversant with the Health & Safety legislation with regards to water services.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Tasks:

Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments to ACOP L8.
Compiling schematic drawings, final documents and preparing and producing reports for clients.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measure through quotations and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
Undertaking monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
Surveys of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
Organisation and prioritisation of work.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients/customers.
