Job Description

Our client, a well-established name within the water hygiene/legionella industry is currently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Legionella Risk Assessor based in the Exeter area to work on a wide range of contracts. Applications will be considered from Exmouth, Crediton, Surbiton, Brixham and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally the applicant must have attended a Risk Assessment training course either City & Guilds or attended internal training course(s).
Experience working in this role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Must be fully conversant with the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents for clients.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out work based on the risk assessments.
Monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
Surveying of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
Collating and producing comprehensive reports
Attending meetings with clients when required.
Liaising with clients/customers on a regular basis.
