Job Description

Our client is a well-established name in the water treatment/water hygiene industry providing various professional and quality services to clients nationwide. Due to continued success they now need to recruit an experienced and competent Legionella Risk Assessor in and around the Liverpool area. Applications from St Helens, Warrington, Ellesmere Port, Birkenhead and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Experience working in this role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
Ideally, the applicant must have attended an approved Risk Assessment course, City & Guilds or WMS or undertaken internal training courses.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.
A good working knowledge of the water industry regulations/procedures.

Role:

Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents and reports required by clients.
Providing recommendations and quotations for remedial works.
Undertaking work as based on the risk assessments.
Monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
Surveying of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
Work to be completed in accordance with the company’s procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
Build and maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
