Job Description

Our client provides a wide variety of professional services including asbestos, legionella and occupational hygiene to clients and due to the continued success of the business, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to cover a variety of contracts in the Maidstone region. Applications from London, Dartford, Brighton and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

City & Guilds or Water Management Society training is desirable.
Extensive previous experience working as a legionella risk assessor.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Will be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Package.

Role:

Carry out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Site assessments and monitoring.
Ensure client deadlines are strictly adhered to.
Complying with relevant legislation and internal working methods.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
Undertake training of other legionella operatives as required.
Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers.
Carrying out monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through maintenance regimes, quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessment.
Carrying out survey of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.

Extensive travelling will be required for this role so a full clean driving licence is essential.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a positive work ethic.
