Job Title: LEV Engineer
Location: Slough, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits £35k – £48k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee LEV Engineer through to Lead LEV Engineer.

Profile: A leading name within the LEV / Clean air industry with a presence across the UK working on Educational, Commercial, and Industrial sites. They are now seeking to employ a P601 qualified LEV Engineer to cover contracts across Oxfordshire / Berkshire / Hampshire regions. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working for an established LEV / Clean air company carrying out Local Exhaust Ventilation examinations in line with COSHH, Testing Emissions, indoor air quality testing and producing detailed reports for clients. Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold a minimum of the P601 – ideally holding multiple industry qualifications e.g. P602 / P603 / P604.
” Experience undertaking Class 1, Class 2, Class 3 fume cupboard examinations would be beneficial to the role but not essential.
” Hold a strong background within a mechanical / engineering discipline.
” Will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
” Proficient in IT and internal/external systems.
” Due to the nature of the contracts the candidate must be happy to travel and hold a full driving license.

The Role:
” Carrying out LEV testing on dust / fume extraction systems, ensuring they comply with HSG 258 and CoSHH standards.
” Producing examination reports using industry specific software.
” Participating in technical audits (both internal and external).
” Liaising with clients, carrying out site visits in line with company and client needs, ensuring to maintain excellent rapport.
” Ensuring LEV works are carries out inline with schedule.
” Ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
