We are currently recruiting for an established clean air company, who delivers a range of services, repairs and validations to a mixed portfolio of contacts across the UK. They are currently recruiting for an experienced LEV / Validation Engineer based in and around the Redhill area. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in undertaking the testing, installation and maintenance of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems to a varied site base. Experience in testing Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 fume cupboards and carrying out clean room validation would be beneficial to the role. Applications from Leatherhead, Crawley, Croydon, Tonbridge and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must hold the minimum of the P601 certificate.
Have hands on experience under-taking the testing, installation and maintenance of L.E.V systems.
Experience in working on class 1, class 2 and class 3 fume cupboards.
Experience carrying out clean room validations would be beneficial.
Proven track record of producing technical service reports.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Role:

The work will involve undertaking local exhaust ventilation (LEV) testing, validations, and maintenance.
Servicing and validating various safety cabinets / clean air facilities including; Laminar air flow, fume cupboards, safety cabinets, and clean rooms.
Testing Emissions, reviewing and approving assessments.
Collating and producing technical reports.
Providing a consultancy service to clients, dealing with the customer related documents, advising on technical reports, responding to customer breakdowns, permit to work attendance records and site reports.
Under-taking and delivering planned and emergency fumigation services to safety cabinets and containment facilities.
Assisting in carrying out fumigation efficacy studies.
Assisting in delivering remedial works.
Visiting sites designated by the client and dealing with issues effectively.
Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
Presentations to staff, company, and contractors regarding occupational hygiene.
Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients.
