Job Description

Our client is an expanding LEV company, who specialise within the design, installation, and maintenance of LEV equipment and due to continued success, they now need an LEV Operations Manager in and around the Newcastle area.. This role includes duties such as developing new business leads, updating the databases, communicating with clients and the public in a professional manner. Applications from South Shields, Durham, Peterlee, Tyne and wear and the surrounding areas will be taken into consideration.

The applicant must hold the minimum of the P601 certificate.
Experience carrying out testing, installation and maintenance of L.E.V systems.
Experience in working on class 1, class 2 and class 3 fume cupboards.
Experience carrying out clean room validations would be beneficial.
Proven track record of producing technical service reports.
Will need a strong technical/office/management/sales/accounts/consultancy/operational background.
Excellent communication skills.
A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures/legislation.
Proficient in Microsoft office package.

Principal Role:

Develop new business leads.
Manage, develop and train a team of Engineers.
Run the operations side of the business – office, site staff and clients on a daily basis.
Update the databases, produce management plans, quotations etc.
Ensure contract operations are co-ordinated with clients and carried out effectively.
Deal with invoices, maintain personnel records, spreadsheets etc.
Liaise with clients/general public in a professional manner.
Comply with all quality and technical procedures in regards to asbestos.
Attend sites and carry out audits – report analytical findings
Produce accurate asbestos reports, method statements, risk assessment and associated site paperwork.
Assist with tenders, quotations.
Establish and maintain a professional relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
