Job Title: Occupational Hygiene Consultant
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary / Benefits £25k – £40k + Training + Benefits

Leading Health & Safety / Environmental consultancy, who specialise in industrial occupational hygiene, are now seeking to employ an Occupational Hygiene Consultant to join their established and forward-thinking team. You will be travelling across the Midlands region undertaking various workplace assessments, emissions testing site assessments and producing detailed technical reports. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bromwich, Tamworth, Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Halesowen, Wednesbury, Worcester, Warwick, Coventry, Leicester, Market Harborough, Burton-upon-Trent, Derby, Stoke-on-Trent.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Hold a minimum of 1-2 BOHS modules e.g. W201, W501, W502, W503 qualifications (Essential)
” BOHS P600, P601 and P602 would be beneficial to the role but not essential.
” Experience working for a recognised player within Occupational Hygiene as a Consultant.
” Will be IT literate.
” Will be able to communicate and organise workload efficiently.
” Well versed in relevant Health and safety Guidelines.

The Role:
” Travelling across the Midlands region, working on Manufacturing, Local Authority, Healthcare and Commercial contracts.
” Carrying out workplace assessments e.g., air monitoring, COSHH assessment, noise, fume, dust, HAV surveys, local exhaust ventilation examination, indoor air quality and Legionella.
” Carrying out site assessments in line with client needs.
” Carrying out emissions testing.
” Accurately recording test results and producing technical documents.
” Attending business meetings, representing the company in a professional manner.
” Undertaking training where required, continuously developing, and updating your knowledge.
” Liaising with clients, providing technical support and advice, dealing with any queries.
” Managing own work schedule efficiently in line with company and client needs.
