Job Description

This multi-disciplinary company provides a variety of services including environmental, asbestos, occupational health and water hygiene to clients across the UK. Due to current business requirements, they are looking to employ a hardworking Occupational Hygienist based in and around the Blackpool area. Applications from Lytham St Annes, Kirkham, Poulton Le Fylde, Fleetwood and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally has some form of qualifications – a Diploma or a Science Degree beneficial.
A qualified and experienced Occupational Hygienist- holding BIOH/IOA or equivalent qualifications.
Qualifications in general Health & Safety (eg – NEBOSH Certificate) would be advantageous.
A good working knowledge of the relevant disciplines involved.
Well versed with Health & Safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake a range of occupational hygiene related projects – e.g. workplace assessments – air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise, fumes, dust & hand-arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination and testing indoor air quality.
Liaising with the company’s clients on a regular basis.
Manage the projects/contracts effectively.
