Job Description

This leading occupational hygiene company are seeking an experienced Occupational Hygienist based in and around the Reading area. Applications from Wokingham, Henley-on-Thames, Newbury, Bracknell and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Will need to have BIOH/IOA or equivalent qualifications and hold the general Health and Safety certificate/NEBOSH Certificate.
Come from a strong technical, consultancy, Health & Safety, water and chemical background.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Role:

Undertaking a wide range of occupational hygiene related projects such as workplace assessments – air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise testing, indoor air quality fumes.
Dust and hand-arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination.
Testing Emissions, reviewing and approving assessments, collating and producing technical reports.
Making sure of compliance to MCERTS standards.
Visiting sites as designated by client and dealing with issues effectively.
Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety legislation and procedures.
Occupational Hygiene presentations to staff, company and contractors.
Building and maintaining a good relationship with clients.
