Job Title: Pre-Commissioning / Flushing Engineer
Location: Croydon, South London.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a Water Treatment specialist company with a strong presence in the South East region. They are now in the market to recruit a Pre-Commissioning / Flushing Engineer to cover a mixed portfolio of sites alongside an established team of engineers. The successful applicant will have strong knowledge of BSRIA guidelines and will have experience carrying out chemical cleans on various systems alongside flushing on hot and cold-water systems.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Epsom, Chatham, Dartford, Gravesend, Gillingham, Canterbury, Ashford, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Royal Tonbridge Wells, Reigate, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere, Woking, Guildford, Bracknell, Windsor, Reading, Slough, High Wycombe, Hemel Hempstead, Watford.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Experience working for a Water Treatment company working within an engineering role.
” Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of BSRIA / Health and Safety guidelines.
” Computer literate.
” Excellent communication skills.
” Able to manage time efficiently.
The Role:
” Carrying out chemical cleans on new and existing systems.
” Flushing of hot and cold-water systems via mains system pumps or temporary flushing rigs.
” Carrying out backflushing of power flushing of systems.
” Measuring flow rates accurately.
” Carrying out dosing of CHW and LTHW systems.
” Carrying out pre-commissioning cleaning on systems.
” Working in line with ACoP L8 / BSRIA guidelines.
” Using handheld tablets to complete reports.
