Job Title: Remedial Engineer / Plumber
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary / Benefits £21k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Remedial Engineer / Plumber through to Lead Remedial Engineer / Plumber

Profile: Our client is a leading and independent Water Hygiene / Legionella company who due to gaining new contracts within the Educational, Healthcare, Industrial and Public sector sites are now seeking to recruit a City and Guilds qualified Remedial Engineer / Plumber based in and around the Leeds area. You will be responsible for carrying out deadleg removals, rerouting copper and PVC pipework, TMV servicing and producing detailed technical reports for clients.

Applications will be considered from: Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Pontefract, Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield, Worksop, Doncaster.

Experience & Qualifications:
” At a minimum will hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2/L3 plumbing qualification.
” Will have previous / current experience working within the Water Hygiene / Water Treatment industry for an established company.
” Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
” Will have excellent organisational skills.
” Proficient in using PDA / Tablet systems.

The Role:
” Carrying out fault finding on site and efficiently diagnosing issues, dealing with in a timely manner.
” Undertaking CWST refurbishment and installs.
” Carrying out deadleg removals and installing and re-routing copper and PVC pipework.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safey / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Undertaking TMV Servicing and installs.
” Signing off on plumbing works upon completing checks.
” Using PDA / Tablet system to produce detailed technical reports.
” Liaising with clients, dealing with any queries and providing excellent technical advice.
