Job Title: Validation Engineer
Location: Bristol, Somerset.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Validation Engineer through to Lead Validation Engineer

Profile: An established Clean Air Company, who work hard to provide clean air services to Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Food, Industrial and Biotechnology clients. They are now seeking to employ a hardworking and experienced Validation Engineer to cover contracts across the South of England. Candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of the Clean / Critical air industry and will have practical experience undertaking clean room validations in accordance with HTM 0301, alongside carry out airflow and pressure measurements, auditing of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and re-balancing airflows. Holding the P601 or other relevant Eastwood Park qualifications would be desirable, but not essential to the role as the client can offer the right candidate structure training plans and support in gaining further industry qualifications.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will ideally hold the P601 qualification and relevant East Wood Park training.
” Will have extensive experience working as a Validation Engineer within the Clean air industry.
” Proven track record of carrying out validation and verification of ventilation systems in line with HTM 03-01 guidelines.
” Experience testing LEVs, fume cupboards and laminar flow cabinets would be beneficial to the role.
” Excellent communication skills and working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Legislations.
The role:
” Testing critical ventilation systems within the healthcare sector; validating and verifying the systems in accordance with the relevant industry regulations.
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites carrying out air flow and pressure measurements, Microbiological air sampling and environmental measurements.
” Carrying out audits on Air Handling Units (AHUs).
” Re-balancing air flows.
” Undertaking DOP and HEPA testing,
” Testing of critical ventilation systems, validating, and verifying the systems.
” Carrying out maintenance of instruments and equipment including arranging repairs and re-calibrations when necessary.
” Gathering information from site, producing detailed reports for clients.
” Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
