Job Title: Ventilation Sales / Business Development Manager
Location: Derby, East Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £35k – £50k + Benefits + Commission scheme.

Our client is the UK leading and independent Ventilation / Clean Air company. Due to consistent growth and success, they are now seeking to take on a business focused and independent Ventilation Sales / Business Development Manager. You will be joining their established team in the Midlands. This role would suit someone with excellent customer facing skills, you will be responsible for meeting with clients to discuss the financial aspect of projects, as well as efficiently sourcing new business and continuing to upsell and promote services and products to clients. This role would suit someone who has previous experience working within the Ventilation / Clean air industry ideally working hands on as an engineer.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience working for a Ventilation / Clean Air company.
” Long term experience working within a sales / BDM role.
” Previous hands-on experience working as an engineer would be beneficial to the role.
” Will be professional and approachable with colleagues and clients.
” Will have excellent IT skills.
” Excellent observation skills, able to identify new business opportunities.
” Able to organise workload around company and client needs.
” Excellent communication skills, via phone, email, face-to-face.
The Role:
” Continuing to manage and grow existing ventilation accounts, as well as sourcing new business.
” Ensuring to monitor the business forecasting and budgeting.
” Ensuring smooth day to day running of the sales / BDM team.
” Working with the sales / BDM team, highlighting areas for improvement to maximise business potential.
” Finding opportunities to upsell and promote the company’s services and products to new and existing clients.
” Working closely with the internal sales team to look at finances within the business.
” Ensuring that KPIs and targets are being met ensuring consistent growth on previous years.
” Meeting clients on site, dealing with any queries and issues.
” Visiting site, ensuring work is completed in line with agreed timelines.
” Carrying out site visits and producing quotations and tenders for work to be carried out.
” Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Working with new and existing employees, providing training where required.
