Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Nottingham, East Midlands
Salary / Benefits £24k – £35k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Environmental Service Technician Through to Lead Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer.

A trusted and well-respected Water Hygiene Company is currently seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts across the East Midlands and M1 region. You will be delivering a range of professional water management services to both public and private clients, to ensure their continued compliance with HSG and ACoP L8 guidelines. Consideration will be given to those both with hands experience undertaking basic remedial works, as well as qualified remedial plumbers.

Candidates will be covering contracts across the East Midlands and M1 region and the client is happy to consider application from candidate with good access to; Market Harborough, Leicester, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Beeston, Derby, Burton-Upon-Trent, Mansfield, Matlock, Chesterfield, Worksop, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield, and surrounding areas.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Must have experience working within a recognised water hygiene company, as a water hygiene engineer or similar.
” Good practical knowledge of ACoP L8 duties and procedure.
” Experience undertaking basic remedial works is essential.
” Holding a recognised plumbing qualification and the G3 ticket is desirable but not essential.
” IT Literate.
” Good customer service skills.

The successful candidate will be delivering a wide range of Water Hygiene and Remedial duties included but not limited to:
” Tank Inspections, Cleans & Disinfections.
” Water Sampling
” Temperature Monitoring
” Mains Injections
” TMV Serving & Maintenance.
” Inspections of Calorifiers.
” Cleans & Descales of Outlet & Showerheads.
” Undertaking basic Remedial works to tanks and associated piping.
” Carrying out servicing and installs on cylinders if G3 certificate is held.
