Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary / Benefits £22k – £34k + Training + Benefits

A prestigious water and air hygiene company, holding a strong Midlands presence. Due to continued success and growth, they are now looking to employ a Water Hygiene Engineer. You will be responsible for carrying out the full range of Water Hygiene Duties across Industrial and Commercial sites. Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 / L3 in plumbing would be beneficial to the role but not essential.

Consideration will be given to candidate from: West Bromwich, Solihull, Walsall, Tamworth, Litchfield, Telford, Shropshire, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Worcester, Warwick, Market Harbough, Leicester, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford, Shrewsbury.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for a reputable company would be beneficial to the role.
” Knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
” Experience undertaking remedial work would be beneficial to the tole.
” IT Literate.
” Professional customer facing skills.

The Role:
” Tank inspections.
” TMV servicing and installs.
” Flushing of little used outlets.
” Showerhead descales.
” Carrying out tank cleans and chlorination’s.
” Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
” Showerhead descales and disinfections.
” Carrying out chemical dosing when required.
” Ensuring work is being carried out in line with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
Undertaking basic remedial duties including:
” Deadleg removals.
” Replacing, installing and rerouting PVC and Copper pipework.
” Installing Cylinders and unvented systems.
