Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Salary / Benefits: £22k – £32k + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Our client is a successful national company who deliver a wide range of water treatment and legionella management services to clients throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to work on contracts across the Hertfordshire region. Successful candidates will be working on Hot and Cold-water systems, undertaking the full range of monitoring and compliance duties to long-standing clients. This is good opportunity for an experienced engineer to cut down on London travel and work on contracts predominately across the Home Counties area.

Applications will be considered from those based across the Home Counties / North London including Luton, Letchworth Garden City, Hitchin, Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, St Albans, Watford, Hertford, Enfield, Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Bishop’s Stortford, Braintree, Chelmsford, and the surrounding areas.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Current / Previous experience working within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene sector.
– Experience carrying out Legionella PPM works to ACoP L8.
– IT literate and confident in the use of PDA systems.

Duties:
– Working across Commercial and Industrial contracts carrying out legionella monitoring and sampling regimes to Hot and Cold-water systems.
– Cleans and disinfections of Cooling Tower
– Showerhead descales.
– Flushing of small outlets.
– Calorifiers inspections.
– Disinfections and chlorinations.
– TMV servicing.
– Inspections on Calorifiers, CWST and TMVs.
– Basic remedial works on domestic systems including Dead-leg removals.
