Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer.
Location: Bristol, Somerset.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k + Training + Benefits

We have an opening for an enthusiastic Water Hygiene Engineer to join an industry leading Water Hygiene / Legionella company, who have an excellent presence across the South West of England. Working on Healthcare, Industrial, Facilities Management and Commercial sites you will be responsible for carrying out the full range of L8 Compliance duties in line with ACoP L8 guidelines. The successful candidate will receive a company vehicle, paid door to door travel, company bonuses and the opportunity to progress their career.

Covering contracts across the M4, candidates will be based with good access to the South West / Central areas and consideration will be given to candidates from: Bath, Trowbridge, Shepton Mallet, Ilminster, Bridgwater, Minehead, Taunton, Ilminster, Yeovil, Shaftesbury, Sailsbury, Warminster, Andover, Chippenham, Swindon, Cirencester, Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend, Barry, Caerphilly.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience carrying out L8 monitoring duties for an established Water Hygiene company.
” Excellent understanding of ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
” Will organise workload efficiency in line with company / client needs.
” Able to use onsite logbooks.
” Will always be professional and courteous on site.

The Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
” CWST cleaning and disinfections.
” Sampling and dosing of closed systems.
” TMV servicing and failsafes.
” Flushing of little used outlets.
” Ensuring work complies with ACoP L8 / Health and Safety guidelines.
” Ensuing to update onsite logbooks.
” Producing detailed reports for clients.
