Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits: £22k – £34k + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Longstanding Water Hygiene company, with a national presence, is currently looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be traveling across the West / South Yorkshire region, undertaking the full range of water hygiene duties to hot and cold domestic water systems. The client is committed to investing in their staff and can offer the right candidate tailored training and development as part of their package.

Consideration will be given to candidates based in areas with good access to West / South Yorkshire including; Leeds, Bradford, Wetherby, Halifax, Batley, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract, Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Worksop, and Chesterfield.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer, Monitoring Engineer, Environmental Service Technician, or similar role.
– Experience working within an established water treatment company.
– Working knowledge of HSG 274 and ACoP L8 guidelines.
– Able to work on your own or as part of a team.
– Full UK drivers license.

Duties will include but not limited to;
– Temperature monitoring.
– Water sampling.
– Inspections of cold and heated water storage tanks.
– Showerhead descales.
– Calorifiers flushing.
– Cleans & Disinfections on storage tanks.
– Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
– TMV inspection, testing and servicing.
– CWST inspections.
– Basic remedial and installation works on hot and cold water systems.
– Updating site logbooks.
