Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £34k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a UK leading Environmental consultancy with a presence in the Yorkshire / North West region. They are now looking to recruit a Water hygiene Engineer. This role would suit a candidate who has experience working on Healthcare, Local Authority, Commercial, Industrial, and Educational sites. You will be carrying out L8 management and PPM duties, including but not limited to water sampling, TMV servicing, and flushing of little used outlets. Due to the nature of the contracts the successful candidate must be happy to travel within the role and our client can offer a competitive salary, opportunities for career progression and generous holiday allowance.

Consideration will be given to candidates with good access to the M62: Bradford, Keighley, Harrogate, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Burnley, Preston, Blackpool, Bury, Rochdale, Manchester, Stockport, Macclesfield, Buxton, Crew, Chester, Warrington, Liverpool, Wigan, St Helens, Bolton.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Hands on experience working as a water hygiene engineer working for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
” Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
” Excellent communication skills.
” Able to manage workload efficiently.
The Role:
” Water sampling.
” Temperature monitoring.
” Cleans and chlorination of domestic water services and cooling towers.
” TMV servicing and failsafes.
” Flushing of little used outlets.
” Showerhead cleans and descales.
” Updating onsite logbooks efficiently.
” Working in accordance with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
