Job Description

This well-established company with a large nationwide presence are currently undergoing rapid expansion and are now looking to recruit an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to work on a variety of contracts in and around the Cornwall Area. Applications from Plymouth, Devon, Dorset, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Experience as a water hygiene engineer within the water industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.
A good working knowledge of the water industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the client’s air and water systems ensuring compliance with the current Health and Safety legislation.
Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
Temperature monitoring, routine sampling and analysis of water systems.
Install and maintain dosing systems.
Inspection and disinfection of CWST.
Servicing TMVs, showerhead descales etc.
Cold water tank cleaning/inspections/replacements.
