Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber

Profile: A long standing and established Water Hygiene company with a strong presence across the Midlands area, carrying out the full range of Water Hygiene / legionella serviced across Educational, healthcare, Leisure and Facilities management sites are now seeking to recruit a hardworking and City and Guilds qualified Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber based in and around the Birmingham area. The successful candidate will carry out water sampling, temperature monitoring, Rerouting, and replacing pipe work, Fault finding and TMV Servicing.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 in plumbing is essential to the role.
” Will have experience working within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry for an established company.
” Holding G3 unvented ticket is beneficial but not essential.
” Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L3 in plumbing would be desired but not essential.
” Will be able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of Health and Safety / ACoP L8 Guidelines.
” Must have excellent communication and organisational skills.
” Confident in using PDA / Tablet systems.

The Role:
” Carrying out Water sampling and Temperature monitoring.
” Carrying out unvented cylinder install and servicing.
” Finding faults on site, diagnosing issues correctly and dealing with any issues in a timely manner.
” TMV servicing and installs.
” Showerhead descales.
” CWST Cleaning and chlorination’s.
” Rerouting and replacing PVC / copper pipework.
” Cleaning and chlorinating hot and cold-water systems.
” Using PDA / Tablet system to produce detailed site-specific reports and update onsite logbooks.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safey / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Maintaining and building professional relationships with clients.
