Job Description

Due to on-growth of the business and requirement, this diverse water treatment company with a large presence in the UK is actively seeking for a versatile, committed and flexible Water Hygiene Engineer based in the Redhill area and will include applications from Leatherhead, Crawley, Croydon, Epsom and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally the applicant will be City & Guilds qualified and will have good formal education.

Must come from a good chemical background and at the same time must have significant experience working within this role and within the water hygiene industry.

Must be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry legislation – L8.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and organizational skills.

Must be IT literate.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.

Carrying out temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analyzing water systems.

Servicing TMV’s

Liaising with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients on a regular basis.

Collating and providing service reports and maintaining the standards according to the regulations – Health and Safety.

In general, the successful applicant will be competent, have good work ethic and have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Must be flexible with regards to travelling.
