Job Description

Due to a growing client base, this well established and diversified Legionella/Water Treatment company, that provides a broad range of water treatment and legionella services to a mixed portfolio of clients is actively seeking the services of a smart, competent and versatile Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around South East London. Consideration will be given to applications from Dartford, Grays, Bromley, Sevenoaks and the surrounding areas.

Requirements & Achievements:

Ideally, the applicant will come from a chemical background and will have significant experience working within a water hygiene role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Must have good communication skills, both written.

Will be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry legislation and ACOP L8.

Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

Will have excellent organisational and client facing skills.

Role will Encompass:

Carrying out work on various projects designated by the client

Monitoring the client’s air and water systems and ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.

Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.

Carrying out checks temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analyzing water systems.

Carrying out plumbing work as and when required.

Collating and producing accurate service reports whilst still maintaining the company’s standards.

Liaising with the clients on a regular basis – building and maintaining good working rapport.

Overall the successful candidate will be flexible and reliable, will have good work ethic and have the ability to work independently and under pressure and must be prepared to travel extensively.
