Job Title: Water Treatment Account Manager
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £38k – £65k (OTE) + Company Car

Our client is an independent and continuously expanding Water Treatment company. They are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment Account Manager in the Midlands region to oversee and manage accounts for a mixed portfolio of sites, including but not limited to Heavy industry, Manufacturing and Food & Beverage. This role would suit someone who can hit the ground running, you will ideally have extensive experience working in an accounts management role for an established Water Treatment company. You will also be responsible for providing new and existing staff with in-depth technical training about water chemistry. Experience & Qualifications:
” Proven track record of successfully managing, overseeing, and sourcing accounts for a Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Company.
” In-depth knowledge of water chemistry.
” Able to demonstrate practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Extensive knowledge of steam boiler, cooling tower, and closed systems.
” Able to plan and organise workload in line with company / client needs.
” Excellent communication skills via phone, email, and face to face.
The Role:
” Overseeing and managing cooling tower, steam boiler and closed system accounts for various Blue-Chip clients.
” Using referrals to secure new business alongside efficiently identifying commercial opportunities within existing contracts, upselling, and promoting remaining services.
” Ensuring that existing clients are well serviced while sourcing new business.
” Liaising with clients and providing excellent technical advice and support.
” Working closely with new and existing staff members, providing in-depth technical training on water chemistry.
” Visiting site, ensuring work is carried out in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
” Attending client meetings to discuss financial progress, ensuring work is completed within budget and agreed timeframe and advising on system productivity and cost-effective issues.
” Acting as first point of contact for clients.
” Efficiently managing own schedule.
