Job Description

Job Title: Water Treatment Account Manager.
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £38k – £50k + Company Car + Bonus / Commissioning Scheme

Our client is a leading supplier of Water Treatment / Water Hygiene services across the UK to a range of High Security, Food & Beverage, Heavy Industry, and Healthcare clients. Due to continuous growth within the business, they are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment Account Manager. This role would suit someone with an excellent water treatment / chemistry background who is looking to join a rapidly growing and forward-thinking company. You will be managing various accounts alongside sourcing new business and acting as first point of contact for clients. The successful candidate will also have experience in selling remaining services, and efficiently training employees. Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have a proven track record of working in a sales / account management role within the Water Treatment industry.
” Excellent knowledge of water chemistry.
” Will have exceptional knowledge of steam boiler, cooling tower, and closed systems.
” In depth knowledge of ACoP L8 /HSG 274 guidelines.
” Excellent communication skills via phone, email, face-to-face.
” Able to manage workload efficiently.

The Role:
” Managing cooling tower, closed system, and steam boiler accounts across High Security, Food & Beverage, Heavy Industry, and Healthcare sites.
” Managing workload efficiently ensuring to service existing clients alongside sourcing new business.
” Upselling and promoting company services to new and existing clients.
” Responsible for acting as first point of contact for clients, ensuring to deal with any issues efficiently.
” Liaising with internal management to produce detailed financial reports.
” Carrying out training with new and existing employees when required.
” Selling remaining services to clients confidently.
” Efficiently working alongside the internal sales department, getting involved with the sales process.
” Meeting KPIs and targets.
” Producing detailed and accurate quotes and tenders for clients.
” Working in accordance with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Carrying out site visits, ensuring that work is completed I line with agreed timeframes.
