This high ambitious and dynamic water treatment company with a large turnover is presently seeking the services of a self-motivated and good calibre Water Treatment Accounts Manager to work for them in East Anglia/South East area reporting to the Southern Area Manager..

The success candidate must come from a strong chemical/technical/management background within the water treatment industry and have a high level of experience working within this role and hold scientific/chemical qualifications to degree level.

Working from existing customer base, the candidate must have the ability to secure, manage and develop key accounts with new and existing clients, carry out service visits and manage workload efficiently.

The role will also involve management of cooling tower, steam boiler, hot and cold water systems, etc., and monitoring customers/clients.

Building and maintaining good relationship with clients from all levels, hence excellent client facing skills will be required for this role as you will be required to deal with Technical, Engineering Managers, buyers and Facility Managers within their existing business and potential customers.

A good working knowledge of L8 legislation, documentation and necessary record keeping will be required.

They will be expected to look for their own prospects and to generate their own sales leads.

Excellent Organisational skills combined with the will to succeed in a competitive commercial field are essential.

Accurate and on time monthly reporting together with team working are important.

Overall, you will be astute, self-driven, have good working knowledge of the water treatment market, have good communication/organisational/management skills and at the same time have the ability to take the business forward.
