Job Description

Due to present business requirements this expanding and forward-thinking water treatment company, who deals with a number of public and commercial sector contracts, is currently seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed Water Treatment Accounts Manager based in and around the London area. Ideally, they are looking for an individual who holds a good technical knowledge and experience of managing a range of cooling towers, steam boilers and closed system accounts. Applications from Croydon, Epsom, Slough, Watford, Harlow and the surrounding areas.

Experience:

The individual must come from solid chemical, technical, sales and account management background

Will have a proven track record working within an account manager role, within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Have extensive experience managing a range of steam boiler, cooling towers and closed system accounts.

Preferable degree in Scientific/Chemistry and previous experience as a service chemist would be advantageous.

Would have attended some training courses with regards to water treatment/water hygiene.

Must have excellent communication, client-facing, leadership, organisational and presentation skills.

Will be fully conversant with the water treatment/water hygiene industry and legislation.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and developing a range of steam boilers, closed systems and cooling tower accounts.

Overseeing staff and ensuring that they carry out the work effectively and within timel ine.

Dealing with contracts and allocating jobs as per requirement.

Generating new business leads whilst still managing existing accounts.

Collating and producing reports and reviews.

Getting involved with training of staff

Quotations & Tenders and Estimates.

Visiting sites and attending meetings.

Building and maintaining a good working rapport with clients/customers.

Dealing with the company’s client’s requirements effectively and appropriately and at the same time maintaining high standards.

Getting involved with Key Performance Indicators.

Getting involved with audits – Quality, Health & Safety, etc.

Liaising with the sales and finance team.

Dealing with any issues appropriately and effectively.
