Job Title: Water Treatment Account Manager / Service Chemist.
Location: Bristol, Somerset.
Salary / Benefits £ 38k – £50k + Company Car + Bonus / Commission Scheme

An industry leading provider of Water Treatment / Water Hygiene services across the UK are now recruiting in the South West for a hard working and business focused Water Treatment Account Manager / Service Chemist. You will have excellent technical knowledge and practical experience working on steam boilers, cooling tower, and closed systems and you will be able to manage accounts for High Security, Food & Beverage, Heavy Industry, and Healthcare clients. This role would be beneficial for someone who is confident in managing accounts, sourcing business, and providing training as well as getting involved hands on, using test kits to carry out sample analysis on steam boilers and cooling towers. Experience & Qualifications:
” Experience working hands on as a Service Chemist for a reputable Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company.
” Extensive experience managing accounts for closed system, cooling tower, and steam boiler accounts on a mixed portfolio of sites.
” Holding a chemistry related degree / qualification would be beneficial to the role.
” Extensive knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Excellent communication skills.
” IT literate.
” Able to organise workload in line with company / client needs.
The Role:
” Efficiently managing the company’s existing client base alongside sourcing new business.
” Managing steam boiler, cooling tower and closed system accounts.
” Finding opportunities to upsell and promote company services to new and existing clients.
” Producing regular financial reports for internal management.
” Acting as first point of contact, providing excellent support and technical advice to clients, dealing with any issues in a timely manner.
” Ensuring that KPIs and targets are being met.
” Working closely with the internal sales department, getting actively involved with the sales process.
” Visiting site to price work and providing clients with quotations and tenders.
” Attending site meetings, representing the company in a professional manner.
” Ensuring that work is being carried out in line with agreed timeframes.
” Providing training to new and existing employees.

You will also be carrying out Service Chemist duties including:
” Carrying out sampling and analysis of stream boilers and cooling towers using onsite test kits.
” Dosing of closed systems with correct chemicals.
” Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Producing detailed reports upon completion of work.
