Job Title: Water Treatment Business Development Manager
Location: Manchester, North West.
Salary / Benefits £30k – £45k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Business Development Manager through to Lead Water Treatment Business Development Manager

Profile: A well-established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company with a national presence working on Commercial, Industrial and Domestic sites are now seeking to employ an organised and business minded Water Treatment Business Development Manager based in and around the Manchester area. The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge of the Water Treatment industry, and will have a strong managerial background. Will ideally have previous hands-on engineering experience and will be efficient at resourcing new contracts along side managing existing ones, maintaining the companies’ internal systems, and continuing to achieve targets and goals.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have a strong background working within the Water Treatment industry, with a strong managerial background.
” Proven track record of managing and continuing to grow Closed System, Steam Boiler, and Cooling Tower accounts.
” Experienced with B2B selling within a Water Treatment or Legionella setting.
” Must have excellent communication and Leadership skills.
” Will have excellent sales, business development, management, and technical skills.

The Role:
” Resourcing new contracts while continuing to grow and manage existing ones.
” Promoting the companies Water Treatment services to new / existing clients.
” Providing clients with quotations and tenders.
” Accurately maintaining the companies’ internal systems.
” Involvement in sales, commercial and finances within the business,
” Continuing to achieve targets and goals.
” Attending meetings in line with company and client needs, discussing financial aspects of the business.
” Develop, manage, and monitor business forecasts and budgeting.
” Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
” Developing management plans for new and existing clients.
” Assisting in development / training of new staff members when needed.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
