Job Description

This fast and emerging market player within the water treatment industry currently has an opportunity for a good calibre and multi-skilled Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Cambridge area and will include applications from Ely, Bury St Edmunds, Bedford, Bishop’s Stortford and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must be fully conversant with current guidelines – (ACOP L8).

Must have good communication skills, both written.

Must be proficient in suing the Microsoft Office Package.

The applicant will have City & Guilds qualification or equivalent.

Must have valid and varied experience working within this role and within the water treatment industry.

Role Will Encompass:

Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, boilers and cooling towers, etc.

Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analyzing water systems and interpreting the results at the same time.

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as and when required.

Completing paperwork for works undertaken appropriately.

Liaising with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.

Attributes:

Overall, the successful candidate will be flexible, have good work ethic and the ability to carry out the work effectively and within time scale.

Must be flexible with regards to travelling to sites as per client’s requirements.
