Job Description

Due to continued success and expansion, our client, a well-established name within the water treatment/hygiene industry is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Derby area. Applications from Stoke-on-Trent, Nottingham, Leicester, Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Must come from a strong chemical, technical and water treatment background.
A good understanding and a proven track record of working to ACOP L8.
Experience of chemical analysis, sampling, chlorination’s, chemical, pump and tank disinfections.
Possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Be well versed with the water industry Health & Safety legislation.

Role:

Understanding of schematic drawings of hot and cold water systems, cold water storage tank inspections.
Carrying out installation and preventative maintenance on chemical dosing systems.
Checking the water quality in softeners and levels of inhibitors in boiler systems.
Closed system analysis of LTHW and CHW and results, temperature monitoring and TMV’s.
Surveys, risk and method statements, monitoring and recording data.
