Job Description

This successful and well-established water treatment company is currently looking to recruit an experienced and competent Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Leicester area. Applications will be considered from Loughborough, Nuneaton, Corby, Grantham and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:

The applicant will have a strong water hygiene/water treatment background.
Previous experience of working in this role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
A good working knowledge of water treatment industry/legislation.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Role:

Covering various contracts which will include residential, commercial and industrial properties.
Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans and descales, changing and replacing tanks, remedial work, flushing systems, water softeners, etc.
Monitoring client’s air and water systems and ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
Interpreting the results and maintaining and installing dosing systems, closed circuits, etc.
Providing accurate reports and maintaining paper work.
Building and maintaining a professional relationship with the clients.
