This well-established, successful water treatment company offer a wide range of services to clients nationwide and due to continued growth they are looking to recruit an experienced, hard-working Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Morden area. The ideal applicant will be experienced in carrying out water treatment duties such as cleaning and disinfections of water tanks, steam boilers and cooling towers. Applications from Sutton, Croydon, Mitcham and the surrounding areas will be welcomed.

Qualifications & experience:

Will hold relevant C&G certificates or equivalent verifiable skills in plumbing and pipefitting.
Previous experience working as a water treatment engineer.
Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation/procedures.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Role:

Understand schematic drawings of hot and cold water systems, cold water storage tank inspections.
Service company dosing and control equipment and associated plant.
Closed system analysis of LTHW and CHW and results, temperature monitoring.
Complete and maintain site log books and service reports.
Liaise with customers on a regular basis.
Carry out testing of cooling towers, steam boilers and closed heating/chilled systems.
Assist with cleaning and disinfection of water tanks, cooling systems and descaling calorifiers.
Cleaning and flushing of closed heating/chilled systems.
