Job Description

Our client is a well-regarded water management company known for delivering a range of specialist water treatment, water hygiene and legionella services across the country. They currently have a vacancy for a reliable and highly- skilled Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Preston area. the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their excellent technical knowledge and hands on experience carrying out a wide range of water treatment duties including carrying out analysis and cleaning duties on cooling towers, closed systems and steam boilers. Applications from Chorley, Blackburn, Burnley and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Applicants will come from a good chemical and technical background, ideally with a City & Guilds qualification.
Experience working as a water treatment engineer.
Excellent technical knowledge and experience.
Good working knowledge of the Health & Safety regulations and the water treatment industry.
Possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
IT literate.

Role:

Analysis of Cooling Systems, Closed Systems and Boilers.
Cleans and Chlorinations
Closed System Analysis and Dosing
Client liaison
Must comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
Maintain professional relationship with clients.
Assisting with evaporative cooling system cleaning.
Remedial works relating to water treatment/hygiene.

The successful candidate will be flexible with a good work ethic.
