Job Title: Water Treatment Operations Manager.
Location: Durham, County Durham.
Salary / Benefits £30k – £45k + Training + Benefits

We specialise in recruitment within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene / Legionella industry and are currently working with a well-established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company, who are now seeking to recruit a business minded Water Treatment Operations Manager based in the North East area. You will be responsible for overseeing, developing, and managing a team of engineers, as well as, overseeing and maintaining the company’s operational processes. You must have excellent management skills, the ability to implement new operations and processes as well as streamlining and improving the company’s current processes. In return, our client can offer excellent overtime rates, holiday allowance and company vehicle.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Consett, Sunderland, South Shields, Tynemouth, Newcastle upon Tyne, Peterlee, Morpeth, Ashington, Gateshead, Hartlepool, Redcar, Barnard Castle, Saltburn-by-the-sea, Darlington.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Extensive experience working within the Water Treatment industry, ideally within a management role.
” Will have excellent chemical and technical knowledge in relation to Water Treatment / Water Hygiene.
” Excellent Health and Safety / ACoP L8 knowledge.
” Able to demonstrate excellent management / leadership skills.
” Able to manage workload efficiently in line with company and client leads.
” Excellent and open communication skills (written and verbal)
” Will have excellent problem-solving skills and will be able to work well in a fast paced, busy environment.
” Will have excellent IT skills.

The Role:
” Managing and scheduling a team of engineers.
” Continuously reviewing contracts ensuring that they are being completed within the agreed timeframe and to a high standard.
” Carrying out assessments on engineers and advising on training where necessary.
” Working alongside the company Account / Sales managers to prepare quotations and tenders.
” Acting as main point of contact for clients, dealing with any queries efficiently and continuing to build and maintain an excellent professional relationship.
” Reviewing company processes and streamlining where necessary.
” Maintaining quality management systems.
” Attending meetings when requires.
” Scheduling and managing own workload.
” Ensuring business processes are meeting ISO standards.
” Woking in line with relevant HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Proofreading and approving all invoices and ensuring to submit them for payment.
