Job Title: Water Treatment Operations Manager.
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £30k – £55k + Company Car, Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a Water Treatment Operations Manager to join a leading player within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene industry. You will be responsible for managing and providing training to a team of established engineers / risk assessors alongside streamlining company processes, managing work schedules, and working alongside account managers to provide accurate quotations for clients. This role would suit a candidate with excellent management skills, and extensive experience working within the Water Treatment / Legionella industry for an established Water Treatment company. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Gateshead, Tynemouth, South Shields, Sunderland, Hexham, Consett, Durham, Peterlee, Hartlepool, Redcar, Saltburn-by-the-sea, Stockton on Tees, Darlington, Barnard Castle, Middlesbrough.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Experience working hands on within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene industry is essential to the role.
” Excellent management, leadership, and operational skills.
” In depth knowledge of HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Excellent technical understanding and knowledge of chemicals relating to water treatment/water hygiene.
” Extensive knowledge of water treatment Health & Safety processes, and RAMS.
” Knowledge and understanding of financial management and reporting.
” Excellent organisational skills.
” Able to communicate efficiently with clients and colleagues of all levels.

The Role:
” Efficiently planning and managing the companies Water Treatment / Water Hygiene / Legionella work schedule.
” Finding ways to efficiently streamline company processes.
” Assisting in training new employees as well as training existing employees.
” Conducting annual appraisals.
” Overseeing a team of engineers, ensuring work is being carried out in line with ACoP L8 / Health & Safety guidelines.
” Working closely with account managers to produce accurate quotes / tenders for clients.
” Attending meetings with clients, ensuring to represent the company in a professional manner.
” Acting as first point of contact for clients, providing continuous support and advice.
” Ensuring work is completed in line with agreed timelines.
” Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
