Job Description

Our client is an outstanding environmental consultancy providing a range of services including legionella management and consultation to clients throughout the UK. They are currently seeking a knowledgeable and commercially focused Water Treatment Sales Manager based in and around the London area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of commercially developing and growing a legionella business, as well as, a strong technical knowledge of the legionella and water treatment industry. The right candidate will assist the company in working towards relevnt legionella accreditations. Applications will be considered from Wembley, Brentford, Richmond and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications and Experience:

Must have a good formal education, a science degree or equivalent would also be beneficial.
Will have a strong, technical, legionella, water hygiene, operational, consultancy and management background.
A strong working knowledge of legionella and the water industry.
Previous experience in legionella operations management essential.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Competent in using Microsoft office package.

Role and Responsibilities:

Growing and developing the team/business.
Resourcing and acquiring new clients whilst also managing existing accounts.
Managing the operations side of the business – visiting sites and managing contracts effectively.
Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the relevant Health & Safety legislation.
Staff recruitment and training to company and industry standards.
Dealing with all manner of paperwork including, but not limited to, tenders and quotations.
Maintaining a strong working relationship with clients.
