Job Title: Water Treatment Technical Manager
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £35k – £50k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Technical Manager through to Lead Water Treatment Technical Manager

Profile: Our client is a leading name within the Water Hygiene / Water Treatment industry, carrying out the full range of Water Treatment services on Healthcare, Educational, Food & Beverage, and Heavy Duty sites. After reassessing recruitment needs, they are now seeking to employ a hardworking and motivated Water Treatment Technical Manager based in and around the Doncaster area. The successful candidate will have a strong Water Treatment background and will have experience working in a Managerial / Technical position; providing high level technical support to clients, alongside supporting colleagues and engineers to ensure all work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety legislations.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Current / Previous experience working within the Water Treatment / Legionella industry.
” Experience working within a Technical Manager position and a proven track record of implementing and managing compliance programmes.
” Strong technical knowledge of water systems and industry guidelines.
” Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient IT skills including MS Office.

The Role:
” Provide technical direction on the testing and treatment of cooling tower, steam boiler and closed system water.
” Managing quotation process with new and existing clients in relation to all water treatment duties.
” Maintain consistent communication with on-site staff to ensure smooth running of works.
” Assist in the design and implementation of water treatment programmes for these and other systems.
” Providing a high level of technical support to clients and understanding of specific client requirements/regulations.
” Providing direction and support to colleague and engineers ensuring compliance with relevant legislative specifications and standards.
” Providing support to sales teams, engineers and clients on legislative, compliance and standards.
” Attend pre-start meetings and to ensure that the scope of works to be carried out has been accurately and fully documented in both quotes and RAMS.
