Job Title: Asbestos Administrator / Report Checker.
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £26k + Training + Benefits

Due to continuous growth, we have a leading Asbestos Consultancy who are now looking to recruit an Asbestos Administrator / Report Checker. You will be joining their friendly office in the Yorkshire region working alongside other administrators to proofread asbestos reports to a high standard, and liaising with site staff to ensure accuracy before sending reports to clients. The successful candidate will receive an excellent holiday / pension package, and opportunities for career progression.

Consideration will be given to candidate from: Pudsey, Bradford, Batley, Morley, Wakefield, Shipley, Halifax, Huddersfield, Brighouse, Dewsbury, Bingley, Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Strong administrative background is essential.
” Experience working within the Asbestos industry would be beneficial.
” Holding the BOHS P402 would be beneficial.
” Will be able to communicate efficiently via email / telephone / in person.
” Must be IT literate, able to work from internal and external systems.
” Able to work well independably and as a team.
” Will have a general understanding of relevant Health and Safety Legislations.

The Role:
” Liaising with asbestos staff to gain information to finalise reports and rectify any mistakes found.
” Proofreading reports, ensuring they are accurate before forwarding to clients within agreed timeframe.
” Booking in work for asbestos staff using internal systems.
” Providing managers / colleagues with day – to – day support.
” Carrying out general administrative duties e.g., making / receiving phone calls, dealing with queries, scanning / filing documents.
” Ensuring efficient day-to-day running of the office.
” Having effective control of company documents.
