Job Description
Our client is an established, successful company in the asbestos industry. Due to this success they are currently looking to recruit an experienced and competent Asbestos Commercial Sales Manager in the Yorkshire region. Applications from Barnsley, Chesterfield, Leeds, Doncaster and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & experience:
Needs to have a solid asbestos, technical, sales, operational, commercial and consultancy background.
Must be well versed with the Health & Safety procedures in regards to asbestos.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Package.
Knowledge of the asbestos sector is essential.
Role:
To grow and drive their asbestos business even further by developing commercial strategy across the UK.
Supporting the operational side of the business – improving and making any changes in order to run the business effectively.
Ensuring contract operations are coordinated with clients and are efficiently carried out in accordance with site operations and company procedures.
Developing and training the team and managing the office.
Attend meetings with staff, keeping them informed of any company issues or matters.
Monitoring targets and achieving continuous profit goals.
Winning new contracts – cross selling the company’s other services to clients/customers, whilst still managing existing accounts.
Collating information for the accounts/finance team and dealing with any queries.
Getting involved with Key Performance Indicators.
Resourcing, assisting and managing contracts.
Overseeing project work, supervising and managing staff, team and operatives.
Completing risk assessments and method statements and writing tenders, specifications/appraisals and ASB5 notifications.
Ensuring all work is carried out according to the relevant Health & Safety regulations.
Producing monthly management reports using company procedures.
Building and maintaining a good relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
