Salary / Benefits £30k – £65k + Benefits
Our client is a leading provider of Asbestos Removal, Surveying, and Consultancy services across the UK. Due to continued success, they are now seeking to take on an Asbestos Contracts Manager to join their team in the South East. The successful candidate will have a successful track record of managing a team of operatives on Industrial, Construction, Educational, Healthcare, and Commercial sites alongside producing competitive quotes, managing existing accounts, and sourcing new business, and completing ABS5 document ensuring to return them to the correct authority in a timely manner.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Southend-on-Sea, Brentwood, Maldon, Cheshunt, Chelmsford, Braintree, Colchester, Saffron Walden, Bishop’s Stortford, Orpington, Rainham, Dartford, Gravesend, Gillingham, Chatham, Canterbury, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Croydon, Epsom, Reigate, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have extensive experience working as an Asbestos Contracts Manager for a reputable Asbestos Removals company.
” Holding the ARCA Contracts Manager ticket would be beneficial.
” Will have excellent organisational skills, organising own and staff workload.
” Well versed in relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Will have strong technical & managerial skills.
” Excellent communication skills with colleagues and clients of all levels.
The Role:
” Attending Industrial, Construction, Educational, Healthcare, and Commercial sites ensuring to gather adequate information and detail to produce competitive quotes.
” Overseeing a team of site staff, ensuring that work is carried out in line with agreed timeframes and relevant Health and safety guidelines.
” Assigning confirmed work to operatives, ensuring to equip them with the correct tools / equipment / PPE to complete the work in a safe manner.
” Managing licenced and non-licenced asbestos removal projects.
” Providing internal management with monthly management reports.
” Managing existing client sites alongside sourcing new business, ensuring you maintain and continue to build excellent professional relationships.
” Ensuring that clients receive invoices upon completion of work.
” Completing ASB5 documents, ensuring they are sent to the correct authority in a timely manner.
” Creating detailed and site-specific risk assessments and method statements.
