Our client, a well-established asbestos company with a strong national presence are currently recruiting for an experienced, knowledgeable and tenacious Asbestos Contracts Manager based in and around the London Area. The successful postholder will come from a strong asbestos removals background and will be experienced in ensuring that contract operations are co-ordinated with clients and carried out efficiently as well as overseeing administrative staff. Applications from Brentwood, Grays, Bromley, Ilford and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Will have a strong technical, quality, auditing, management and asbestos removals background.
Previous experience of working in this role within the asbestos sector.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.
A good working knowledge of the asbestos industry.
Experience of asbestos licence application procedures beneficial.

Key duties:

Ensure a good level of technical and quality competence in all aspects of work undertaken by the company.
Liaising with the HSE.
Maintaining the asbestos removal licence.
Update and maintain the company’s systems and equipment records effectively.
Implement any procedures needed to improve and develop the technical side of the business.
Oversee administrative staff, ensure contract operations are co-ordinated with clients and carried out effectively.
Deal with invoices, tenders, quotations, maintain personnel records, spreadsheets and all other relevant paperwork.
Produce accurate asbestos reports, method statements, risk assessment and associated site paperwork.
Help develop new business leads, taking the business to the next level.
