Job Description

This well-established asbestos company with a nationwide presence is now urgently looking to recruit an experienced and focused Asbestos Project Manager based in the Nottingham area. The ideal applicant will come from a strong asbestos background and will be experienced in overseeing projects from start to finish including management of office staff. Applications from Grantham, Derby, Chesterfield, Loughborough and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Will come from a strong educational, asbestos, technical, accounts and management background.
Experience in accounts management within the asbestos industry.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Competent with Microsoft Office Package.

Key Tasks:

Managing the company’s large base of existing accounts.
Ensure good customer service by keeping in regular contact with clients/customers.
Manage and oversee office staff.
Preparing quotations, tenders and pricing.
Getting involved with Key Performance Indicators.
Providing technical advice to the company’s large and mixed portfolio of clients when required.
Visiting sites and dealing with any issues appropriately.
Generating new accounts.

In general, the successful applicant will be smart and flexible with the ability to manage projects effectively.
