Job Title: Asbestos Removal Supervisor
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
Salary / Benefits £135 – £200 Day rate + Benefits

A South West based Asbestos Removal company are now seeking to take on a hardworking and efficient Asbestos Removal Supervisor. The successful candidate will come from a strong removals background, holding the Asbestos Supervisors’ ticket and will have experience overseeing and managing licenced and non-licenced projects on Commercial, Public, & Residential sites. You will also be responsible for providing training when required to both new and existing employees & acting as first point of contact with clients, providing excellent support and advice. Covering the M5 / South West and the surrounding areas: Gloucester, Stroud, Tewksbury, Cirencester, Swindon, Bristol, Chippenham, Malbrough, Bath, Keynsham, Frome, Portishead, Warminster, Devizes, Shepton Mallet, Glastonbury, Weston-super-Mare, Taunton.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience working as a Removal Supervisor for an established Asbestos Removals company.
” Holding an in date Asbestos Supervisor ticket is essential to the role.
” Will be well versed in relevant H&S / HSE and ARCA guidelines.
” Liaising with client and colleagues efficiently via phone, email, and face to face.
” Supervising and managing a team of operative in a fair and business efficient manner.
” Managing workload in line with company and client needs.

The Role:
” Supervising asbestos removal contracts on both licenced and non-Licenced projects across Commercial, Public, & Residential sites.
” Completing and submitting ASB5 to the correct authority.
” Producing and amending site specific RAMS.
” Efficiently managing a team of operatives.
” Being first point of contact for clients, ensuring to deal with any issues in a timely manner, providing excellent technical support and advice.
” Carrying out and passing HSE audits.
” Working closely with internal managers to ensure smooth day to day running of projects.
” Preparing sites for 4 stage clearances in a timely manner & building air and bag locks.
” Carrying out training with new and existing staff when required.
” Checking RPE before attending site.
” Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and safety guidelines.
” Ensuring that the all sites and equipment on site is kept secure.
